The obverse depicts Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet, while the reverse features the winged Nike holding a victory wreath and a stylis, an ancient naval standard.
A contemporary jewel preserving the distinctive imagery of ancient Macedonian coinage.

Description
The gold stater of Alexander the Great was issued during the fourth century BC.
The obverse depicts Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet. On the reverse, the winged Nike holds a victory wreath and a stylis, an ancient naval standard. Beside her appears the inscription ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, meaning “of Alexander”.
Handmade in Sterling Silver 925.
