A two-sided pendant inspired by the silver tetradrachm issued by King Lysimachos of Thrace after the death of Alexander the Great.
The obverse portrays Alexander wearing a royal diadem and the ram’s horn of Zeus Ammon. On the reverse, Athena Nikephoros is seated holding Nike, the winged goddess of victory.

Description
The pendant reproduces on of the most celebrated portraits of Alexander the Great, created for the silver tetradrachms issued by King Lysimachos during the early third century BC.
Alexander is portrayed with idealised features, wearing a royal diadem and the ram’s horn of Zeus Ammon – an attribute expressing his divine status.
The reverse depicts Athena Nikephoros seated upon a throne and holding Nike, the winged personification of victory, who crowns the same of King Lysimachos.
A two-sided jewel inspired by an important masterpiece of Hellenistic portaiture and ancient Greek coinage.
